Descriptive Memory

The Música em Matosinhos 2018, held in Matosinhos, is a concert series mainly dedicated to classical music, whichtook place throughout the entire year of 2018. This event stood out for its continuous and diverse program, spread across several months and cultural venues in the city.

The initiative was primarily based on performances by the Quarteto de Cordas de Matosinhos, which led most of the concerts, often accompanied by guest musicians and other ensembles, such as the Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música.

This concert series had as its theme the violin, one of the most representative instruments of classical music and central to the identity of the event.
